Chappell Roan × The Midwest Princess Project
Give to MPP for a chance to experience Lollapalooza Brasil together
“I started the Midwest Princess Project because I saw how many trans kids and LGBTQ+ young people needed someone in their corner. Growing up in Willard, Missouri, I didn’t have that. I want to be that for them.”
— Chappell RoanChappell Roan has been one of the most vocal advocates for LGBTQ+ rights in modern music. During her Midwest Princess Tour, she donated $1 per ticket sold directly to For The Gworls, a Black, trans-led organization providing rent assistance and gender-affirming surgery funds. The initiative raised hundreds of thousands of dollars across dozens of sold-out shows.
She has consistently featured drag performers as openers on every tour stop, platforming queer artistry and creating inclusive, celebratory spaces at scale. In October 2025, she launched The Midwest Princess Project (MPP) to directly fund services for trans youth, including safe housing, mental health support, and community programming.
In 2026, Chappell became a MAC Cosmetics Global Ambassador, a partnership centered on amplifying LGBTQIA+ visibility and channeling proceeds toward community programs. Her advocacy is not performative — it is structural, consistent, and deeply personal.
Funding LGBTQ+ community centers and safe housing programs for trans youth who face housing instability or family rejection. Every young person deserves a place to feel secure.
Emergency grants for trans youth covering gender-affirming healthcare, mental health services, and basic necessities. No bureaucratic hurdles — just immediate, direct aid.
Supporting policy work and public education campaigns that protect trans rights at the state and federal level. Changing systems, not just treating symptoms.
